Tomatoes of Ruskin ensures that we meet and exceed all food safety standards. Our produce is always treated and sanitized with food-grade and biodegradable solutions ahead of packaging and shipping. Trace-backs as well as our record keeping are a priority for us. We make sure that every single tomato shipped from our farms has been grown with care and packed with pride.
Certifications:
This is a workplace-monitoring program that is unique in its partnership with farmers, farm-workers and retail food companies. Not only does it ensure humane working conditions and wages, but it also helps to harness the power of consumer demand in order to give workers a voice in decisions that affect them. We also have been granted certification to ISO 9001:2015. ISO/AS is a globally recognized certification for excellence which includes practices and standards of the newly release Ethical Charter of Responsible Labor Practices, Food Safety, Quality, Environmental and other agricultural directives. Lastly, Food Safety certifications through the USDA (T-Gap) is encompassed in our program.
